The event features free pumpkin painting, pink walkway of hope, pink candy bar and more surprises while bringing the community together to improve outcomes and save lives for those impacted by breast cancer.

PURRR Adoption + Sanctuary will host Thrifty Kitty Pop-Up: Bridal Edition on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community is invited to an afternoon of shopping, style and second chances to benefit PURRR Adoption + Sanctuary, a South Florida nonprofit dedicated to cat rescue, adoption, and high-volume, feline-only spay + neuter services. The one-day-only bridal shopping event will feature designer samples and runway gowns by the renowned Zola Keller, a Fort Lauderdale boutique with Florida’s largest selection of special occasion wear.
 
Supporters can shop the curated collection, which includes a variety of bridal gowns, including Zola Keller’s bridal designs, ranging in sizes four through 12, priced from $100 to $500, with original retail values up to $5,000, making high-end style accessible for every bride-to-be. All proceeds benefit PURRR Adoption + Sanctuary. Back for a 20th year, the market will feature more than 60 artisans, crafters and local vendors. As in years past, admission is one or more non-perishable food items for the Second Mile Mission food pantry. Food trucks will have items to purchase, and guests age 21 and older who bring a canned good to donate will receive two tickets for an adult beverage while supplies last. A band playing holiday tunes will add to the festivities.

Buchanan Galleries has announced it will be gifting shoppers £1,000 in Glasgow Gift Cards in its Great Gift Card Givaway campaign to encourage local shopping.
The Great Gift Card Giveaway campaign goes live at Buchanan Galleries on the 20th October 2025 and runs through to 2nd November. During this time, businesses at the shopping centre will hand out small cards to customers with a QR code linking to an online game, which will reveal if the recipient has won a Glasgow Gift Card. 
A total of 15 prizes will be handed out during the campaign: 5 x £100 Glasgow Gift Cards and 10 x £50 Glasgow Gift Cards. Winners can choose between a physical version of the Glasgow Gift Card or the digital version, which can be added to digital wallets, enabling the recipient to ‘tap to pay’ with local businesses. 
The campaign follows the launch of the partnership between Buchanan Galleries and Glasgow City Council in 2025, whereby a self-service kiosk dispensing the Glasgow Gift Card was installed at the Sauchiehall Street entrance of the shopping centre. 
Operated by Landsec, many of Buchanan Galleries' 80 plus businesses, including John Lewis & Partners, LEGO, Social Bite, and ARRAN Sense of Scotland, also accept the Glasgow Gift Card.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2025) – Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach, in partnership with Halifax Health, Daytona Toyota, Atlantica and Wire 3, invites the community to its annual A Spooky Good Time event on Friday, Oct. 24, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. The celebration, part of the Tanger Family Fun Days event series, will take place next to the Splash Pad and feature an evening filled with family-friendly Halloween fun.

Guests can enjoy festive activities throughout the night, including craft stations, live entertainment, face painting, a photo booth and trick-or-treating at participating Tanger stores. The popular costume contest will take place on the stage near Columbia, with registration open from 5:30 – 6 p.m. and the contest beginning at 6:15 p.m. Children will compete in age categories 0–2, 3–6 and 7 and up, with prizes awarded to winners in each group. Giveaways will also be available while supplies last.

In addition to the Halloween festivities, Tanger Daytona Beach is continuing its support of breast cancer research throughout October with the annual TangerPink campaign. Quilts at the Kenan 2025 will take place Friday through Sunday, November 7th through 9th, 2025 at the Kenan Center Arena at 195 Beattie Ave in Lockport, NY. The haunting melodies of music and performances, along with the crowning of a Vampire “King and Queen” as well as live body painting are sure to ensnare the senses. DC Creators Body Art Collective will transform select attendees into wicked creations. As the night deepens, a nocturnal DJ will summon lost souls to dance on the brink of damnation with Dollz Entertainment digging up creepy performances throughout the dark evening.



But beware, the night holds more than just unholy revelry. Attendees are encouraged to bring offerings of canned goods, a tribute to a Feed More (www.feedmore.org) in Richmond in the form of a CHARITY FOOD DRIVE. Every two cans sacrificed to the cause shall grant them one raffle ticket, casting them into the void of chance, where donated raffle prizes await the lucky.



Attendees are encouraged to unleash their inner creatures of the night, draped in attire that celebrates the darkness. Fangs, masques, cloaks, corsets, capes, black-on-black ensembles, top hats, latex, and leather will adorn those who dare to venture. Attire inspiration can be found in the haunting aesthetics of Baroque, Victorian, Gothic, Neo-Victorian, Steampunk, Edwardian, and Aristocratic styles, for the immortal allure of Vampires knows no bounds.



A selection of “creatures of the night” themed cocktails will flow freely to quench unearthly thirst. Moreover, a handful of bewitching vendors shall weave their webs of darkness, offering eerie treasures to those who seek the embodiment of the haunting season.



Amidst the eternal twilight, a variety of photographers, both lurking and featured, shall capture the essence of the night, providing a visual feast for the insatiable hunger of their social media realms. For in this visually enchanting gathering, photographs become treasured tokens, forever memorializing the allure of this unhallowed affair.



Prepare to be bewitched, mortals, as the VAMPIRE BALL descends upon Virginia’s capitol. A night of unyielding darkness, where the line between the living and the undead blurs into oblivion. Dare you join us in this dance of eternal shadows?
