The entire family will appreciate a sunflower experience, unlimited "PYO" zinnias per person, photo opportunities, and quality time spent in the enchanted forest bonding while doing a scavenger hunt. Photo props (LOVE letters, yellow bike, hats, ladders, chairs, benches, wagon & more) are available on the porch. Please help yourself and return the props to the porch when finished.


IMPORTANT:


All guests visiting the farm during sunflower season will pay for a "Pick Your Own" zinnia bouquet. Guests are encouraged to pay early for the best deal. A pick-your-own bouquet costs $10 per person, including flowers and photography opportunities. The bouquet will be $15 per person at the gate. Please bring your clippers, or you may borrow ours for a $5 deposit, which will be refunded upon return of the clippers.

Join us for an evening of spoken word, poetry, and storytelling at the VORTEX Voices Open Mic Night, brought to you in collaboration with every.Word Poetry! Whether you're a seasoned poet, an aspiring writer, or a passionate listener, we invite you to take part in our community. Share your original work, perform your favorite pieces, or simply sit back and take it all in. Depending on planned programming, we will accept 15-20 poet sign-ups.

** 10 Poet Sign-Up tickets are available online.
** The remainder of the sign-ups will be available day of at the stage.
** Poets must check-in at the stage by 7:30pm to gurantee your spot on the list.
** By participating on stage, you consent to every.Word Poetry and The VORTEX to share and use audio, video, and/or pictures of your performance on ever.Word Poetry's and The VORTEX's social media, website, inside the bar, and for grant-writing purposes. The VORTEX

"Goats don't judge; Goats just love!"

The classes (suitable for all experience levels and ages) are one hour, 45 minutes dedicated to yoga, with the remaining 15 minutes available for taking pictures and cuddling the goats.

The yoga practice promotes mindfulness, relaxation, and a little fun. What was once considered a crazy idea is now recognized as a new form of yoga animal therapy.

Tickets include a goat token for one glass of wine, cocktail, mocktail, or NA beverage that can enjoyed at Bistro Polaris or our tasting room.

Limited yoga mats will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own.



Important things to note:

* Goat yoga is at the SUTTONS BAY location, 10844 E Revold Rd. There are no refunds for going to the wrong location.
* If Black Star Farms cancels the class due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you can reschedule or be 100% refunded.
* In case of a canceled class, we will notify you through the email address you used to purchase your tickets.

Cancellation policies:

* Less than 24 hours before your scheduled class - non-refundable.
* 2-6 days before your scheduled class - 100% of the ticket price (excluding service fees) can be converted to a credit for a future Black Star Farms event.
* 7 or more days before your scheduled class - 100% refundable.
* Tickets can also be transferred for another date at no fee based on availability.

It’s 1935 Cleveland, and the city’s criminal underworld is buzzing with whispers of double-crosses and dirty dealings. Someone’s been bumped off, and the heat is on to figure out who’s behind the crime before the cops pin it on the wrong sap. The stakes are high, and it’s up to YOU to crack the case.


This interactive murder mystery puts you smack in the middle of the action. There’s a role for everyone from shy gumshoes to bold investigators alike. The stakes are high, and the headlines are unforgiving. Don’t let your name end up in the papers.


Tickets include complimentary parking, a curated charcuterie spread, one drink ticket, and a night of intrigue you won’t forget.

This episode of Dark Jokes is for Uncle Sam, and just the Patriotic event you need to cheer up, Charlie, and fight fascism with joy and purpose. Humor is one of our greatest traits as people, and I fervently believe, not just because I'm a Fool, that with it we can overcome the darkest times and build the most beautiful things. Join us Saturday, July 5 at the Balcony Club for patrioticly twisted comedy show... for Uncle Sam... featuring some of my favorite artists. This is a comedic variety show that includes standup, drag, burlesque... and interperative dance.

We invite you to refresh your mind, body, and soul every Sunday morning with Southend Brewing! Join Sheri Vettel (RYT-200) or Hallie Matthews (RYT-200) for a 60-minute yoga class indoors at the Elm & Bain Event Center across from the brewery. Once the weather warms up, we’ll meet outdoors. This class is welcome to everyone, whether you’ve practiced yoga for years or are taking your first step onto your yoga mat. Please bring your own mat and any props/ items desired for your practice (e.g., water bottle, yoga blocks, blanket). 


Each yoga ticket includes a post-session OJ Mimosa or Non-Alcoholic "No"Mosa, which can be claimed at the bar once class has ended. Sheri Vettel


Sheri (RYT-200) trained at the Triad Yoga Institute and has been sharing yoga in the community since 2017. Her classes are taught “slow flow” style and offer extra emphasis on strength, balance, and breath. Sheri encourages those who practice with her to find their own flow, lean into what they need in the moment, and practice intuitive movement on and off the mat! Sheri is also an integrative and functional registered dietitian and soon to be certified Chopra Health Ayurveda teacher. 



Hallie Matthews 


Hallie (RYT-200) is a middle school visual arts educator and yoga instructor based in the Triad. She is a lifelong creator and mover who values meaningful collaboration and creating spaces for others to reconnect with themselves, their environment, and those around them. Her yoga class honors both Ashtanga and Yin Hatha yoga practices- combining dynamic and relaxing flows that increase strength and mobility and allow space for meditation and release. Her class will leave you feeling renewed, focused, and a little sweaty.

Join the Northwest Montana History Museum for a high-quality walking tour of downtown Kalispell, the cultural, economic, and transportation hub of the Flathead Valley. The approximate 2-hour, level, and ADA-accessible tour covers about one mile and makes more than two dozen stops amid 30-plus highlighted buildings that tell the story of Kalispell's evolution and people. 

Along the way walkers learn about architectural history and modern reuse as well as prominent citizens and early settlers, how a bison herd could buy a city block, and where to spot ghost signs.

Recommended for ages 10 and over.

Attention PARENTS! Give your kids the opportunity to make their own dinner with our Junior Pizzaiolo Class. During this class your little one will not only learn how to make their own pizza, but also what makes Neapolitan pizza so different — a tradition that dates back hundreds of years!


* Classes are available at most locations (see list of locations below). 
* Classes are held on the first Monday of every month at 4:30PM.
* Each class accommodates a maximum of 15 children.
* Tickets cost $20 per child and include one pizza and a beverage.
* Adult assistance is required for children under 4 years old.
