Solemn Vision was forged in the depths of Brooklyn, NYC, blending progressive and melodic death metal into a sound that is as dynamic as it is devastating. Since their critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2019, the band has built a fearsome reputation for delivering high-energy, immersive live performances that balance masterful musicianship with commanding stage presence.

In October 2023, the band released their sophomore album, Despite The Rise Of The Sun, via Black Lion Records - a record praised for its intricate blend of heaviness and melody, pushing the boundaries of the genre. Patrick, now age 24, grew up in South London and began refining his precocious talents at the age of eleven when he escaped from school troubles by late night experimentation in the corners of his bedroom with his violin, voice and car boot sale organs on a four-track tape recorder. Although beginning his musical education a few years before with rigorous violin lessons and church choirs, it wasn't until Patrick's obsession for early twentieth-century electronics - which lead to a study and construction of a Theremin - that Patrick really developed a strong ambition to create new and innovative music and that has power and emotion enough to communicate directly to the heart. Patrick finished his third album "The Magic Position" on the 30th of June 2006 on his 23rd birthday and was released by UK indie label Loog, in cooperation with a worldwide deal through Polydor/Universal in the February of 2007. Patrick has been touring his third album around the world to great critical acclaim, while appearing on everything from The Charlotte Church Show, Newsnight, Transmission and The Culture Show in the U.K to a notorious performance on the Late Night With Conan O'brien In New York to Los Angeles to a raptuous audience on The Jimmy Kimmel show. While breaking new ground in Japan and Australia, patrick will continue on his almost year and a half tour that will finish in December of 2007 and take him back around the planet to sing and share the music once again on the third and final leg of the magic position tour. We hope to see you at one of the shows wherever you may be, it will be the last opportunity to catch Patrick in the magic position, before a skin is shed and 2008 brings a whole new album and set of stories to share.

yeemz (Yi-Mei Templeman) aims to creatively fuse genres in order to welcome people of all backgrounds into her distinctly intimate and emotive storytelling.

Yeemz is a cellist, singer-songwriter, and composer from Santa Monica, California. She is currently classical cellist in-residence at the New England Conservatory with her internationally acclaimed piano trio (and best friends), Trio Gaia. She has been writing songs on the piano from a young age, but only began experimenting with singing and playing her cello like a guitar in 2018, when she was unable to bring her ukelele to college with her. 

Since then, yeemz has quickly established the roots of a uniquely multi-faceted career, performing around the world as a classical cellist, producing her own music, recording and arranging strings for other artists, scoring music for film, and teaching cello students of all ages.
Yeemz orchestrates her original songs with her own cello playing and draws songwriting inspiration from literature, indie-folk influences, and classical music alike. She has music out on all streaming platforms, and has been featured on multiple Spotify editorial playlists. She will soon release the first single from her debut album. The single, “TSA”, is inspired by yeemz’s real life experience leaving water in her bottle going through TSA and also by themes from Bell Hooks’ book, “All About Love”.

Billie –born Isabella Sophie Tweddle – got her early start in music thanks to parents who surrounded her with the music of Nick Drake, John Martyn, Joni Mitchell, Joan Armatrading, Kate Bush, Loudon Wainwright III and northern folk artist Chris Wood (who once told a nine-year-old Billie to "go for it!"). The family lived in the cathedral city Ripon, North Yorkshire, where Billie grew up in and around the Dales. "I feel a lot of emotion [in nature]," she says. "Like this extreme form of empathy. I find it a very comforting blanket. It cradles you, it's always there. It's not going away."

Billie was then signed to Chess Club Records, an imprint of Sony, "the day before my Maths GCSE”. I was revising and then signing in this big glass boardroom." Not long afterwards, she was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2016, making fans out of Radio 1 tastemakers like Annie Mac and Huw Stephens. Her critically acclaimed debut album, Writing of Blues and Yellows, was a diarist, open-hearted collection of quietly beautiful songs released in 2016, when she was still just 17. The following year, she moved to London, where she worked on her 2019 follow-up, Feeding Seahorses ByHand, which The Line of Best Fit declared a "gentle and reserved masterpiece".

Towards the end of 2019, Billie underwent a total overhaul, leaving Sony and choosing a new management team. She signed to Fiction records, a division of Universal, in lockdown via zoom. She then went back into the studio and reunited with producer Rich Cooper – whom she worked with on Blues and Yellows – Billie felt empowered to experiment andrediscover herself. "I picked up the bass instead of the guitar – which made all my rhythms different, because I can't play bass," she laughs. "That made everything a lot punchier and more direct." With Rich adding drums to the songs as they were being written, the sound they developed together was one with a rapid pulse and rich instrumentation. The list of inspirations Billie brought to the studio roamed from krautrockers Can – "their rhythms are just bizarre, and don't make any sense" – to Broadcast, Arthur Russell, and Fiona Apple. "It was such freedom to play, and just be, and explore different corners of me that I hadn't before."

Since then, she has toured frequently throughout the UK and US, returning home to record her fourth record, soon to be released in early 2023. Her writing themes explore social commentary, the struggle with modernity vs tradition, nature, mental health, relationships, and a general voyeurism on the world as she sees it.

Patrick Wolf is an English singer-songwriter from London.  Wolf mixes electronics and samples with a wide range of instruments including viola, keyboards, ukelele, and percussion, all of which he plays himself to form a fusion of jazz, folk and electronic music.  He began experimenting with sound and four-track recording at the age of 11, eventually building an arsenal of instruments that included junk-shop organs and a home-built theremin.   At the age of 14 he joined the pop-art collective  Minty, a venture that caught the eyes and ears of Fat Cat Records, which went on to supply the youth with a computer and mixing tools for aid in his newfound audio experimentation. He left home at the age of 16 and formed Maison Crimineaux with his friend Fanny, which eventually found its way to France where the noisy duo played a show attended by electronic maestro Kristian Robinson (aka Capitol K), who went on to release Wolf's lauded 2003 debut. With Lycanthropy reaching number 39 in the NME's top LPs of the year, as well as receiving critical acclaim throughout Europe and America, Wolf decided to study composition at the Trinity College Music Conservatoire.  The results of that endeavor can be heard on his 2005 release Wind in the Wires, a dark collection of moody British folk and chamber pop with a chilly laptop sheen.  Wolf released his third album, and the first on a major label, The Magic Position, in February 2007. He has been busy promoting it with a successful concert tour in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia.

Under the Ikons of Rock umbrella, owned by Darren Moore, Snake Oil started as a group of professional musicians in different bands, who wanted to perform something fun locally, on their downtime from touring. They had no idea when they started, that the demand for what they had put together would explode. So they unwound themselves from their other projects to explore the limitless possibilities, creative freedom and fun they found performing as Snake Oil.  

Snake Oil has gained a reputation with their impeccable ability to impersonate 80’s and 90’s rock stars musically and visually. They perform with spectacular costumes, hilarious audience interaction and an array of incredible special effects. Their over-the-top theatrics are complemented with masterful illusions and video support. Snake Oil has an outstanding cast both male and female to ensure an authentic and energetic arena rock show experience. The audience is guaranteed a good time!

Snake Oil has shared concert stages with The Beach Boys, Whitesnake, Starship, Cheap Trick, Night Ranger, Rick Springfield, The Guess Who, Blue Oyster Cult, Slaughter, Great White, Warrant, Bret Michaels, and many other notable groups. For the first time we will be presenting this show at Royal Athletic Park in the City of Victoria! This all ages/licensed event will be one of the most anticipated outdoor events this year and we're excited to offer this family concert to Vancouver Island and beyond. For this show The Wailers will be featuring the 30th anniversary of their acclaimed compilation album, Natural Mystic: The Legend Lives On. Following the success of their 2024 tour which honored Bob Marley‘s legendary album Legend, The Wailers are set to bring the entirety of Natural Mystic to life on stage, offering fans a unique and immersive experience. Anticipate a full live rendition of Natural Mystic: The Legend Lives On, bringing its classic tracks to life on stage, alongside other classics and select tracks from the Grammy-nominated Evolution. This show promises a unique blend of nostalgia and contemporary reggae rhythms, making this show an unforgettable experience. Joining The Wailers for this unforgettable show is Caleb Hart & Friends. If you're a reggae fan from Western Canada you will have probably heard of Caleb Hart. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, but now settled in Victoria, Caleb is a musician and arts administrator singing lead vocals in his band Caleb Hart & Co. and his new project Sonic Alley. Through Caleb's vast musical connections he will be featuring some of the most talented and entertaining up and coming BC artists on this show. The " & Friends" part of his band include Nostic who is a Canadian/Peruvian MC and creator. Nostic shifts between Spanish and English effortlessly combining his raps with beatboxing and singing. Janelle Reid who is one of BC's most talented reggae and soul singers is another "Friend" of Caleb Hart's special ensemble. Janelle Reid was also born in Trinidad and Tobago and now makes Vancouver her home. In an article written by Steve Newton of Ear of the Newt in 2021 she explained "I learned to sing before I spoke so technically, I’ve always been singing. I wasn’t much of a talker as a baby, really, but I sang, and so singing was my way of talking." Janelle sings with Vancouver's Mad Riddim and makes guest appearances with other bands while juggling her solo career. Rounding out the Friends is Sofía Leónne, a soulful singer-songwriter from Guadalajara, Mexico now based on Vancouver Island. She'll be performing with El Slow Mo - a dynamic bilingual rapper from Mexico and Daniel Sar - a Colombian multi-instrumentalist. Together they are "The Trippycals" and we're happy to have them debut at this show! No matter how many changes the music industry experiences, the one thing that always remains, is the power of a passionate live show. Caleb Hart has the ability to bring something fresh, honest and powerful every time he steps on a stage. A natural born performer since he was a young boy growing up in the small Caribbean island of Tobago; Hart has been taking his music across Canada and around the world to Australia, USA, New Zealand, Europe, Africa & the Caribbean full time for the past decade, playing over 1000 shows. From his inception as Bravehart to his success with Tasman Jude, Caleb Hart has also managed to win prestigious awards from Edmonton Folk Fest, the Western Canadian Music Awards and much more. With 5 Records under his belt, including chart topping albums with his former band Tasman Jude, Hart promised that his 6th release ‘11’ alongside Trinidadian super Producer Aaron ‘Track7’ Peters would be the best portrayal of music and showmanship that he had ever delivered and on September 11th, 2019, that came true. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, but now settled in Victoria, Caleb is a musician and arts administrator singing lead vocals in his band Caleb Hart s vast musical connections he will be featuring some of the most talented and entertaining up and coming BC artists on this show. The part of his band include Nostic who is a Canadian/Peruvian MC and creator. Nostic shifts between Spanish and English effortlessly combining his raps with beatboxing and singing. Janelle Reid who is one of BCs most talented reggae and soul singers is another Friend of Caleb Harts special ensemble. Janelle Reid was also born in Trinidad and Tobago and now makes Vancouver her home. In an article written by Steve Newton of Ear of the Newt in 2021 she explained I learned to sing before I spoke so technically, Ive always been singing. I wasnt much of a talker as a baby, really, but I sang, and so singing was my way of talking. Janelle sings with Vancouvers Mad Riddim and makes guest appearances with other bands while juggling her solo career. Rounding out the Friends is Sofa Lenne, a soulful singer-songwriter from Guadalajara, Mexico now based on Vancouver Island. Shell be performing with El Slow Mo - a dynamic bilingual rapper from Mexico and Daniel Sar - a Colombian multi-instrumentalist. Together they are The Trippycals and were happy to have them debut at this show!

The Wailers, Caleb Hart, NOSTIC

In 1996 Sonata Arctica was formed in the northern Finland city Kemi. Their first name was Tricky Beans.
After some line-up changes in 1997, they changed their name to Tricky Means. In 1999 the band recorded the new demo “Full Moon” in the Tico Tico Studios in Kemi.

This new demo was the first survey for the band in heavy metal waters. The trade marks of the band were a faster and melodical sound, keyboard oriented heavy metal with clear and high vocals. How the destiny wanted it, and with help from Athi Kortelainen and the Tico Tico Studios, the demo “Full Moon” found the way to the metal label Spinfarm. Meanwhile Tricky Means changed the name to Sonata Arctica.


In summer 1999 the first single “UnOpened” was released. The release of the first real full legend album “Ecliptica” designated the fall 1999. At first it was only sold in Finland, but other countries were soon to follow. Shortly after this release Tony Kakko decided to concentrate more on singing, as opposed to trying to sing and play keyboards at the same time. Mikko Härkin (ex-Kenziner) became a new member and replaced Tony on the keyboard.

After the last show of the Silence tour at Jörisrock in 2002, Mikko Härkin decided to leave the band because of personal matters. The band announced the search for a new keyboarder and got a lot of applications from all over the world. After a night in a bar with the two candidates that had been invited, the band voted for Henrik Klingenberg.

The national success continued after "Winterheart's Guild" was released in Finland. It entered the charts on the 3rd place and stayed in the top 10 for five weeks.

After this, Sonata Arctica signed a contract with Nuclear Blast.

The recording session for the next album now also featured Henrik who added fresh spices to the soup, later on called "Reckoning Night". In Finland the album came up to the second position for the most sold exemplars in the first two weeks. Finland wasn’t the only country, where “Reckoning Night” stayed in the charts. In Germany it was on place 77, in Switzerland on place 85 and in Norway on place 69. In fact, there should follow a headliner tour after the release, but the band got the unique bargain to play with Nightwish on their European tour as special guest. The band decided to do so and thus they toured with Nightwish through all over Europe and played in arenas with capacities up to 12 000 people!

In October 2004 the band received remarkable news: They would exceeded the Gold record because of their album “Silence”, which arrived a sale of more than 15.000 copies and finally became to the most sold albums of the band.

The last gig on this tour was at the newly-formed Finnish Metal Expo at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki.. The last show of the Finnish tour wasn’t only a sold out performance with an enormous audience, it was also a good practise for the band for the coming Japan tour. For the first time, Sonata Arctica had played the same set which would be later released as their first DVD “For The Sake Of Revenge”, it was recorded in Tokyo.

The Japanese label Marquee/ Avalon released the compilation album “The End Of This Chapter”. The composition contained a previously unreleased version, an instrumental issue of “Draw Me” of the album “Winterheart’s Guild”. The first limited pressing of the compilation was arranged with a DVD, which contains seven acoustic songs.

In the second half of December 2005, once again the magic of Sonata Arctica was showed: Their third album “Winterheart’s Guild” received the gold disc, because more than 15.000 copies were sold before the beginning of 2006. Once again the have captured Finland and for the second time they gained the once-in-a-lifetime goal during one month.

Shortly after “Winterheart’s Guild”, the fourth studio album “Reckoning Night” was also awarded with the golden disc in Finland, while the band still toured through North America in February 2006. More than 100.000 copies of this album were sold worldwide. In a little while after the end of the North American tour in February, Sonata Arctica started a Europe tour to promote their forthcoming live DVD "For The Sake Of Revenge".

While the band recorded the fifth album “Unia” in different studios, the Finnish press announced an official documentary film about Sonata Arctica. This documentary followed Sonata Arctica in their hometown Kemi and also showed how a song of Sonata Arctica is developing from the scratch to the very end of the creative process. Meanwhile this documentary isn’t the only non-musical work in combination with Sonata Arctica, there was also a Sonata Arctica 3d role playing game for PC, with the name “Winterheart’s Guild”, developed.

In May 2007 the album “Unia” was released. Before the release of the album, the single “Paid In Full” was released in Finland, Japan and Germany. This single got the first place in the official Finnish charts, the second place in the following week and stayed in the national top ten, till the release of  “Unia”, a month later.

After 17 years as a team, the wolf pack has moved from classic Power Metal to more progressive shores, but went back to their initial roots on the last release 'Pariah’s Child. Fans know that SONATA ARCTICA constantly deliver their high quality sound, but are also up for a little surprise here and there, hence every one of the band’s 8 full-length releases carried its own charm that always added a fresh new touch to the genre.

Therefore the ever-active quintet rarely finds time to breathe and once again, it only took them less than two years to produce the follow-up to their last hit album - their new brainchild The Ninth Hour will see the light of day on October 2016. But just like their last two releases, this album also gives the listener food for thought due to its thoughtful lyrical and visual content. After a North American tour plus many headline shows around the globe, the band was able to take a close look at the entire world as it is at the moment – on the edge of a possible armageddon.

He has composed music for The National Film Board of Canada, the Cartoon Network, Sesame Street, and Adult Swim. He has also been commissioned to create music for runway shows for Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten. Kid Koala’s unforgettable live shows range from silly touring turntable carnivals like Short Attention Span Theater (featuring turntable bingo) and Vinyl Vaudeville (including puppets and dancers) to quiet-time events like Music To Draw To, Space Cadet Headphone Experience, Satellite Turntable Orchestra, and Nufonia Must Fall, a live animated graphic novel created performed, filmed, projected, and scored in real time using 5 cameras, 20 sets, 47 puppets, a string quartet, and Kid Koala on piano, turntable and percussion.
